I DID IT !!!

This is what I looked like in October of 2010

Yes I did it!!!
I cut my hair myself last night after deciding two months ago that I would go natural.
I have not yet been able to determine what hairtype I am. Think it's 3c.
After the chop I washed my hair with ORS Uplifting Shampoo andDT with my own concoction of ORS Hair Mayonaise, a little bit of coconut oil, some EVOO an a good squirt of my favorite conditioner ORS Replenishing Conditioner. I kept it in overnight and rinsed it out this morning.
Decided on very small perm rods as my hair is very short.
I then used Hollywood beauty Olive oil cream, some coconut oil and ORS Lock and Twist gel.
Before rolling I coated every strand of hair in a mixture of my favorite conditioner...ORS Replenishing Conditioner, some Olive oil lotion and some ORS Lock and Twist gel.
I might have gone overboard on the products, but before I didn't use enough.
My first attempt at a twist and roll ended up in a pathetic looking mess.
Equally pathetic the attempt at the spiral rods
This is this morning with the perm rods in

You look great! I am getting my BC tomorrow morning and I cannot wait!! I am so excited. I have been transitioning for six months. I thought that I would go longer, but I can not wait any longer. Reading your story and others here on CurlyNiki are inspiring.

Thanks all for the kind words...must tell you I tried something else the day before yesterday...so that makes it day three....I love this ..... (sleep with my satin scarve on) and I received so many compliments...I couldn't believe it.
