i agree with creole. there was a post about this a while back and I think the consensus was that you no longer have a TWA if your hair is 5 inches or longer *dont quote me on this, i may be wrong*

Re: TWA: When is your TWA not a TWA anymore?
No problem! I just read it a few weeks back. It looks like you and I are about the same length.
I can do bantu knots and twist outs. My hair is shorter in the front so no puff for me just yet.
I can't wait until BAA...

Re: TWA: When is your TWA not a TWA anymore?
i cannot do a ponytail and probably won't be able to for a while (maybe another year or so) because my hair is super thick...but i'm thinking that in a few months i'll stop saying that i have a TWA...
Basically, if you have more than 6 inches of hair...you no longer have a TWA

@fanmnatirel, I know what you mean. I've watched youtube vids of girls with hair my length who can put their hair in a ponytail, and i'm like "why cant i do that yet." It's because I have too much hair for one ponytail.
@sebastiann13- try twisting your hair, then knotting them. I tried it and liked them better this way, plus it stretched my hair more. I usually just pick it out into a curly fro tho..

I do twist alot c. & love the curly fro when I take it out I have done the pineappling technique & it works great for me but Ive been trying to treat my hair to some protective styles so now I have it in some cornrows w/a little hair out on the side
I dont know what the twist then knotting them is can you explain

Re: TWA: When is your TWA not a TWA anymore?
@sebastian13- its the same as doing the knots only instead of coiling that section of hair, you twist it. then just wrap the twist into a bantu knot.
i hope i explained it well enuff
