I know y'all are dedicated to length so....

Have you read the articles at hairliberty.org? It is my mission to make sure everyone knows exactly what to do to keep their hair healthy and retaining length. There's so much false information out there it was starting to drive me crazy! So, I put a lot of time and effort into researching our biggest hair issues and all the answers are on my website.

Have you guys checked it out? Have you made any changes to your regimen? Did you read anything that you just can't believe? I'm looking for some feedback before I launch the next phase of the site. Help me out ladies!

LittleOne. I like your website!!! I think I'll add it to my Favorites!!! Nice job!! AND I read your article about the pre poo oiling. I am due for a wash on Saturday so I am gonna do this!! I did always think that it's strange to put OIL in your hair before washing it, it just seems "backwards" as you said in the article. But I will give it a try!!!
Quick question though....my hair should be pretty much slathered with oil??? As if I were doing a deep conditioning tx?

Ok, so I'm confused. I just took the hair ID quiz as well. Is hair D the same thing as hair type? Cuz according to naturallycurly.com I thought I was about a 3c....based on their description. Not that it really matters, but now I'm curious.

misskris: Dang that hair typing system! Curl types are only one aspect of hair care. If you think you are a 3c according to Andre Walker's system, then go with that. The Hair ID has nothing to do with curl type. The Hair ID is about understanding the hair you have to get your hair to look the way you want. I think focusing only on curl type causes mad confusion and PJism. Maybe that's why Mizani's curl type system has never caught on....

For me, I'm a Walker 3c, but a Mizani Type 5. Whaaatever. It's not about the number, it's about the information. Does that make sense?

Ohhhhhh ok. yes that makes sense. But it's funny though cus my type and ID kinda go together (at least according to the pic you had on your quiz. I turned out a 4 and her hair looked kinda similar to mine.)

I always use oil to prepoo....and I mean a lot lol

I also use oil before I put my mix (amla/brahmi powders). Makes its easier to wash out and my hair feels great afterwards.....yummy
