im in love!!!!

so i have been a little irritated because my hair is a bit difficult i have 4a hair but as it grows from a bc it has changed with what it likes to be moisturized with, but one day at walmart i'm in the ethnic section and i see Organic Root Stimulator olive oil smooth-n-hold pudding, my hair loves it my hair stays moisturized for a few days and keeps my twist outs lovely for about 3 days... im in love! has anyone else tried this?

I tried the pudding and I wasn't thrilled. That being said, my hair was really, really short at the time and I was still trying to figure out a regimen. I may need to revisit it in the future. I recently tried the ORS loc and twist gel and I love it! Their products have guided me through my relaxed and natural hair care. I use the replenishing conditioner as a DC and I use the oil for moisturizing before I do my wash-n-go.

I have the pudding (thanks fleur!) but have yet to use it. Does it have any hold to it?

Latoya28, it has great hold and its not a crunchy hold at all its soft and moisturized!..... Fleur i agree with you when my hair was short stuff like that didnt work for me but know that i can do twist outs its amazing, i need to try their oil and deep conditioner, right now i use Africas best oil and aussie 3 min miracle for dc.

I tried the smooth n hold pudding on my twist outs. It was pretty good, gave pretty good definition but my hair was soft . I don't know how long it would have lasted. so I retwisted with it again the next night. after the third day it started flaking or something. i saw white stuff all over my shoulders as I was taking out my twists. So after washing my hair that night i have'nt used it again.It was just OK not in love with it. I was wondering if it could be mixed with something else to make it give a stronger hold.

I think I'm gonna use this later today when I do my twists. Using a gel with it may give it a better hold.

I have the lock and twist, not the pudding. I used it when I was transitioing and it had great hold. I actually looked at it today and thought I should try it now that I'm doing twists.

I am not a fan of this stuff. I don't know what I did wrong, but my hair was dry I am happy it worked for you! It is always great finding a product that works!

I used this to do my twists and I like it! I twisted on dry hair and they are shiny with a slight hold...not crunchy at all. I was worried that it might dry with a white residue, but it absorbed very well.

I also rebraided my daughter's hair with it. I did not wash her hair I just took out her week-old braids and rebraided them with the pudding. Her braids came out beautifully! Lastly, I styled my baby girls ponytails with this product. It helped with detangling and smoothing.

I'm with kevynnew, this product is a keeper!!

I use the lock and twist and its amazing for smoothing and twist.. never really payed attention to the twist out results though.. go figure
