Henna right after braids????

Hey natural chicks
I currently have braids with extensions in my hair. I've been SCARED to expose my natural hair because i wasn't comfortable with the length. But now I'm over the insecurity and i am ready to experiment. I plan on taking my braids out in October,shampooing right after. Would it be harsh on my hair if i were to do a henna that same night ?
And please leave your preferred mix. I'm so lost and I'd appreciate some help.THANKS!

I've done it before without any problems. My only suggestion to you is to make sure you properly detangle your hair after taking out the braids. I didn't and paid a huge price just doing a cassia gloss.
