Where did the itches come from?!

Ok, I BC Aug 8, 2010. Since then my head has been itching like crazy. It never did this before, while transitioning or relaxed. Could it be because of the products I use or my regimen. Or is it just apart of natural hair. Any explanations?

This is what I do on a norm....maybe its the prob

My norm twa hair style is a wash and go.
Regimen:
Co-wash my hair twice a week.
Wash my hair every other week.
Deep Condition every time I wash my hair (every other week)
Daily Moisture I do twice a day (morning and night) I use a leave in conditioner or a water based moisturizer and seal it in with oil.
Products:
V05 Moisture Milks Moisturizing Conditioner
Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Treat Invigorating Shampoo
Shea Moistures Deep Treatment Masque
Cantu Shea Butter Leave In
Luster’s S Curl
EVOO

hmmm have you tried a Apple cider vinegar rinse to help get some product build up out of your hair...when i did mines my scalp felt sooo clean and all the itch went away

Are you rubbing products into your scalp?

So it could possibly be product build up? Ok thanks, I will try that.

Not really directly on my scalp. Why I apply products I massage it into my head. Should I put it directly on my scalp, ie part and apply?

I honestly think it's because you just did the bc. My hair did the same and I couldn't figure it out, but I've heard of others that has experienced the same thing. It shouldn't last for too long, and I don't think the products you use have anything to do with it. Just the fact that you just did the bc. I'm no expert though, and have only been natural since this past March. Just giving my opinion.

When I actually started taking care of my hair. my scalp was very itchy. It was not like a dirty itch but more of an itch under the scalp. I figured out that it was because my hair was growing. Now when I am in a growth cycle, my scalp itches and I know why.

Ok thanks, I may just give it some time then before I do anything different.

Hmmm maybe I want it to itch more often then!

I'm going through the same thing! And it's just the back of my head!

Now that I think about it, most of my itches are in the back also!
