Soft Bonnet Hair Dryer

Post by swt_sunny on 11th August 2010, 11:12 am

Hi Ladies -

Just got my second trim in a series of trims to get rid of highlights (and relaxed hair). Unfortunately the length of my hair now is a little too short to be pulled back, so now I'll have to master doing a roller set. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] Have any of you used a soft bonnet dryer w/ good results? I have a hard hooded dryer that is just 'ok' and after a while of sitting I get antsy!

Hello,

I used a soft bonnett but the harder ones worked WAYYYYYY better for me and took less time than the soft bonnett.

Yes, I purchased one because the purple and black rollers would not fit under the hard bonnet dryer I had. I received great results IMO. Here are a couple of pictures of my hair after using the dryer.

I use a soft bonnet. No way I'm sitting under a hood, I like to lay in bed and read while I'm drying.

I purchased mine at Sally's. I would have liked for the piece between the dryer and the bonnett to be longer, but it's not and that piece gets pretty hot on warm, so you have to move it out of the way. Sally had a cheaper one, it was white and I purchsed it first and returned it for this one. I could have kept the white one. They all get hot I think. Anwho, here's the link for mine. Even with my complaints I wouldn't trade it.

im glad others had good results, I brought the gold n hot from sally's and the part between the hood and hose broke twice in a couple of months. But what works for me may not work for another....

Thanks for the responses all! ChrsLvsBks, what brand did you use? Your hair came out nice!

I purchased this one, the same one Renny posted. The hose does get hot but I just maneuvered it out of the way. Thanks for the compliment!
