HELPP!!!!!!! Empty HELPP!!!!!!!

Post by wtfshanee 17th July 2010, 8:54 pm

I am literally sobbing as I write this, and my mom is staring at me like I'm an alien.. So, today I cowashed and detangled with HE Hello Hydration and my hair was detangled beautifully. My aunt came over(whos a natural) and I asked her to do 3 twistrolls(I dont know what its call) down my scalp; I parted, moisturized and detangled so all she had to do was twist. But no. She decides to take a fine tooth comb and detangle my whole head, and literally yank my hair out of my scalp. When she was finished, she handed me a puff of hair literally the size of a campbells chicken noodle soup can. I took down two of the twist and all I see is breakage at the line of demarcation..PLEASE HELP ME! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] For 2 years Ive been taking care of my hair well, and this past March I decided to transition..This is like 4 months of NG down the drain..What should I do?? Should I relax and start over or just keep conditioning and giving protein treatments and never let that witch touch my hair again???

First, take a deep breath and relax. It is only hair and it will grow back. Don't throw away all of your progress by relaxing. Just keep conditioning etc and it will grow back. Maybe you should encourage your Aunt to visit Curly Nikki.com?

Thanks, I think I over did it a little, but I was soooooo frustrated. What I did was deep condition and chop 2 inches off. I think my hair is doing better, but it still is damaged.
