When to Chop ??

I want to go natural I haven't had a relaxer in about 5weeks is it too soon too chop. Or should I wait for more new growth ? I'm a little scared but still very anxious.

If your BC now, it will be super short....like down to the scalp. If you are comfortable with that, then go for it. If not, then wait.

There's no set time on when you should BC. However, since you're only 5 weeks post relaxer, you could end up with less than a half inch of hair. If you don't want your hair to be that short, you can wait a few months to BC. Some people wait 2 years to BC. It's all up to you.

5 weeks? Girl are u serious? If I were you I would wait it out until the time when you would need a relaxer. Honestly my hair is thick and my hair starts looking like "ew girl relax that" around 12 weeks post relaxer. 12 weeks is pretty managable of a transition.

Just wait until then so you will have like an inch fro instead of a quarter of a centimeter

Unless of course you want a reeeally low cut. I actually suggest to cut a SMALL area of hair (like up to 5 strands) so you can see how your whole head would look, were you to cut it at 5 weeks
