Hairstyles for a Golf Tournament Empty Hairstyles for a Golf Tournament

Post by Neems 15th June 2010, 3:05 pm

I'm going to be working all day at a golf tournament for my job on July 27. There will be a lot of important officials, board of directors and potential donors and I want to make a good impression. I'm new and know first impressions count.

For the most part I usually wear neat twist-outs but I just realized that I'll be walking around all day in the NJ July heat/humididty and then have to attend the cocktail reception and dinner afterwards. Can we say serious frizz?? Any ideas for a few hairstyles that could work in the daytime and be easily transformed for dinner would be much appreciated. I thought I could try out the suggestions in the coming weeks and see which I like the most.

Thanks in advance Smile

In situations like this I always opt to bun. Especially with high humidity because my hair will get bigger and bigger - and unpredictable.

I agree with tia. I nice bun can be worn with a visor during the golf tourny and then still be worn for a reception or dinner afterwards. with minimal frizz. If you want to dress it up with accessories for the dinner.

You could do a twist-out puff (so even if it gets bigger it will still be contained, some flat twists in the front w/ the back in a puff, or some type of twisted updo.

Thanks for the suggestions.
@tiashauntee & npmoore04 I would love to do a bun or puff, but I don't think my hair is long enough. I'll practice and see what happens. I'm so putting a flower in my hair for dinner though.

@bajanprincess I can't wait to practice my falt twists.

Keep the ideas coming.

I suggest trying to make the eco custard and seeing if it helps keep your twist out "more tame" for lack of better words. Many have success with it. You have plenty of time to test it out.
