Poo Please
I'm currently using Softsheen Carson Optimum Anti Breakage but I'm at the last few drops in the bottle and I want to shampoo about two weeks from now.
Suggestions Please! And you all should know very well....If I can buy it from Wal-Mart, thats bonus points!
It doesn't have to be sulfate free because I'll only be using it about twice a month to get rid of product build up.
(I almost picked up some Suave Humectant Shampoo the other day but I decided to hear your suggestions first)

My normal bi weekly shampoo is Herbal Essence Hello Hydration, but when I really wanna wash my hair [ really need a cleansing] I use Fantasia Tea Tree Naturals shampoo, I usually get that from the BSS

I've heard good things about the Giovanni line and Suave. A lot of people like the Suave Professionals Almond and Shea Butter. Both lines are available at Target and Walmart I believe.

I ended up buying Creme of Nature Kiwi and Citrus but I do want to try Herbal Essence.
Re: Poo Please
herbal essence is good but i dont think shampoo is for me?!?
it makes my hair dry and i just dont like it...
i guess that makes me a no-poo gurl??
is it okay to shampoo once a month but still co wash once or twice a week?

Re: Poo Please
sulfate-free shampoos ftw. hehh shampoo has sulfates, which is why a lot of people just use the conditioner. shampoos with sulfates dry out your hair and make it feel yucky and dry hair can lead to breakage

everyone who I come across cowashes a lot rather than shampoo. But now I'm rethinking that. I watched kimmaytube on youtube on her detangling vid and she says cowashing is over used and shampoos are suppose to strip your hair along with the products we use. To avoid drying when it is stripped I think she just put a little conditioner on her shampoo before she rinses.

Re: Poo Please
I only wash my hair once every two weeks to get rid of the product build up. There are sulfate free shampoos that will still cleanse your hair just as well, but I don't mind the trying feeling because as long as I condition and moisturize afterwards, my hair is fine. I co-wash two to three times a week. You can "pre-poo" before you shampoo, using oils and conditioners, almost like a DC. You leave it on for about an hour or overnight and then shampoo it all out. It should leave your hair feeling more moisturized, but I've never tried it.
Re: Poo Please
I tried co-washing and my hair felt greasy and gross. I'll stick to shampoos lol

What conditioner did you use?
Re: Poo Please
Oh ok. I've never used that one. Maybe it was too thick. Try again with Suave Naturals. The consistency is a thinner so maybe it won't leave your hair feeling so greasy.
