Free from the beauty shop!
Hi Ladies,
I just BC'd on Sat and am still adjusting. I do love playing in my hair. I have always had a weekly standing appointment at the salon(even while transitioning). I just figured out I will save around $120 to $150 per month. I know I should save it LOL but I was thinking about some things I could not afford that I can now afford. Manicures, Pedicures, a facial every now and then, of course hair products, new earrings to go with my short hair and extra activities with my two boys and husband! What did you guys do with the extra money saved by not going to the salon?

Re: Free from the beauty shop!
I was never really a salon person, so that money stayed in my pocket........until I BC'd. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I had a BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE in my house at one point, I bought so many products!! But now that I make my own products for the most part, I spend my money mostly on art supplies, guitar lessons on occasion, books, and jewelry. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] So I broke even in a way.

I started out using my "extra" money on my PJism but I am getting it under control now that I have figured out what Roxie loves. I only allow myself to try new products once every two months. I want to eventually change that to once every three months...baby steps.

I can fill my gas tank ALLL the way up now that I've stopped going to the salon so often. I only go twice a year and thats for a trim, yeah im definitely saving money. I have my pj ism under control so im just letting the extra cash sit until I really need/want something.

Re: Free from the beauty shop!
The pj in me took over and I also had a beauty supply store at home. But now I've been using what I already have and I only purchased two things this month and actually nothing last month. So I think I have this Pj under control for now.
