Fine hair and locs.. any info or advice welcome!

Just wondering if some of you with fine hair have ever loc'd your hair,
and how did it turn out? I'm thinking about it for myself to make hair
care easier and to hopefully get longer growth out of it, but I'm also
afraid that locs would be so heavy as to tear from the root..

Any advice? Pictures?

Hey there. I don't have fine hair and am not considering locs at the moment. But you may want to check Nappturality. That site has both loced and naturals. There may be someone who can give you better advice there as CN users are usually loose naturals. HTH.

I just took a look over there, and I didn't see (or wasn't allowed to see) threads about locs, even though I saw there is a section for locs. Isn't NP.com a paid subscription forum site?
