PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am new to the site and I really need some help!!!! I just went natural May 2010 I had some severe problems with damage from some hair color so I did the BC

Now I am having problems with what type of products to use on my hair I do not want to b a product junkie so I just dont know what to use

My daughter has been helping me with some products but I am still a little confused I really want to limit it to just a few things like shampoo, conditioner, something for a daily moisturizer, and a monthly deep conditioner

Right now I have a TWA and I know that its going to take time for my hair to grow so I just need a little advice

I like co washing with trader joes conditioner, tea tree tingle. i like moisturizing with a mix of olive oil , coconut oil and water. i have to shake the mix a lot so it doesn't separate. i put it on my scalp. sometimes i just put plain water on my scalp. i get the oils from the grocery store. i'm trying to keep it simple too! it's so hard because there are a million things that sound amazing.

deep conditioner for me (that i've tried only once) : soak hair wiht water, saturate hair and scalp with olive oil, cover with shower cap, then with towel, let sit for hours, wash hair. left hair softer. i'm still transitioning, can't wait to try when fully natural.

I just read the replies and it is very confusing on what type of product to use but I do appreciate the recommendation I am going to keep checking daily to c wat has been said

I still have a TWA (3c/4a) and here's what I use to keep it moisturized:

Shampoo(weekly): Kinky Curly Come Clean or Hello Hydration
Deep Condition(weekly): Pantene Relaxed and Natural Breakage Def. Mask
Cowash(daily or every 2-3 days): Giovanni Smooth As Silk or Tresseme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner
Leave-In(daily): Giovanni Direct Leave In,Tresseme Naturals or Hello Hydration
Seal(daily): EVCO or EVOO
Protein Treatments(monthly): Lekair Choloesterol and an egg & baggie for 30mins

Just remember everything doesn't work for everyone but I hope this helps!

Hi, i have a TWA as well and I have become a product junkie. I really like co-washing with herbal essance Hello hydration(HEHH) or HH tottaly twisted. I use EVOO to seal. Like she said everything does not work for everybody, you will become a little bit of a PJ. its ok lol O i tried Yes to cucumbers, LOVE IT!
