Appreciate the link to your main site, and the discussion about curly hair from those who are not of African descent. I received some of my best advice from the General Section of naturallycurly.com.

Wow, I did not realize you were due so soon. August will be here in no time. Did you ever find a place to register where all your adoring followers can go to purchase something for your new little one?

Chrs, happy you like the new segment... I too learn a ton from the general section of NC.com.

And, yep! I finally did a bit of research and will try to get that rolling later this week. Diapers.com I think....

hey Tia,

This is a great suggestion. I oftentimes want to sign up for other blogs but I don't bother because I think I'll forget to check them out.

This will be a great way for me to do it and stay current with them all. Do you just go to google.com or have to have some other type of account?

Hi Nikki,

Just passing by to let you know I was defeated in a toe to toe battle with my pjism and purchased the Aveda Defining Whip. I stalked it all weekend before thinking on it so hard yesterday that I HAD to stop in. I talked with the sales consultant and she insisted it was to be used on dry hair. I basically told her she didn't know what she was talking about and walked out with it in tow. LOL! Anyway, I felt compelled to use it on my hair last night. I worked out really hard so I had to wash anyway... Uh huh. Long story short- LOVE IT! My hair isn't as long as yours but it gave me great definition and the bit of hang time I usually can't achieve until rebraiding after day 2. Thanks for the referral!

My hair is also thicker and is growing faster. I'm glad that my hair structure didn't change. By my first one my curls got thighter. CurlyNikki - Page 12 Icon_eek And since a friend of my got her first kid, her curls did desappear, her hair isn't straight... But just really frizzy with out curls, how weird is that. She had such lovely curls, and it never came back, now almost 3 years ago.

Cherry, no problem! Happy you guys suggested it Smile

Nattyblog, lol! I'm 7 months and although I think she's ready to get here, I'm not ready, lol. I still need to turn the office into a nursery!

poeticlyspkng, so happy it worked for you! it's a bit pricey but it's so worth it. Hang time, definition, and hold! That plus the YTC is a winning combo. What did you use with it? And yeah, the sales person (and directions) said to use it on dry hair, but I apply it to damp/towel dried hair and I'm loving it Smile So excited that you like it too...keep me posted Smile

No swelling, with 7,5 month I think I will experience the swelling! I gained like 14 pounds with 6,5 months. My belly is growing now, but it's growing forwards really funny haha!

I'm glad when it's time to deliver the baby!

Do you wiggel already (like a duck) haha?

I only waddle like a duck sometimes, lol! It depends on if I was sitting or laying too long.

Here's a pic of my 29 week belly. I took this on Saturday before my lamaze class and baby shower. I was headed for my daily walk.

I'm headed into my 30th week, and I'm still feeling okay... I have breathing difficulties from time to time, and my joints hurt when I wake up, but I don't have many complaints. Today I'm off and headed to walk, then to Trader Joe's to stock up on some food.

You look so freakin' adorable with your bump. I was huge with my first son--gained 42 pounds CurlyNikki - Page 12 Fresse .

As for the link, I suggest posting it on the General page. I see you also posted it on your blog. I'm happy for you and your family CurlyNikki - Page 12 Icon_bounce .

Are you planning to attend the NC Hair Expo? I'd love to meet you in person.

thanks Chrs! Ive already gained 25 or so pounds and still have 10 weeks to go... I expect to get up to 140 when it's all said and done. Scary.

Are you talking about the event on the 19th?? Cause if so, I'm definitely going!

Crissy, I hope I don't have any of the symptoms once she's born! My hands feel arthritic and my back hurts every night at the same time!

Hey Nikki- your second baby shower looked super fun. Are you going to have others? You are very fortunate! You won't have to buy anything!

I am still loving the aveda defining whip. I've all but kicked everything else to the curb. I do use it with yes to cucumbers. This weekend though it kind of blew up on me due to the rain and humidity so I think I also need to use some sort of anti-humectant because my hair doesn't like glycerine. On Saturday I twisted it back up and added the SheaMoisture curl smoothie and by Sunday, we were great again. Today is day 3 and we're still looking good. And feeling irie! Smile
