Awww Nikki, you need to give those chickens their legs back! :-)

You have a lot of patience and determination. Finishing in six hours for the case is awesome. I made my own wedding cake topper and I did it in shifts. Those crystals are so gosh darn tiny but the end result is beautiful.

How did you adhere them? I'd like to bling out my phone. Tried it once before with cheap little press on crystal things and of course they came off. So, I'll get me some Swarovski's but want to make sure they stay on.

Sjoyreed... Do you know my 'chicken legs' were the source of great anguish and frustration growing up?! I hated being skinny but now I embrace it. watching my weight go from 102 to 118 is frightening!

Thanks for the cell phone case compliments! The crystals were size 7ss and 9ss and cost about 60 dollars. I adhered them with a universal glue from michaels that dries clear... Can't speak on the quality just yet. The crystals are gorgeous though! If you're thinking of doing it, definitely get swarovskis, at least 7ss but 9ss was easier to work with, tweezers, glue, and toothpicks. You'll also need patience and a glass of wine. Wine would've made the process much less painful for me

Nikki, you embrace those legs! My mom embraced hers and will rock it out! I'm skinny too, but have bigger legs due to my ballet background.
On another note, I will be heading to ebay to buy an iphone case!

I say be happy what ever size or shape legs you have and be thankful they work. I went from a walker while pregnant to a 4 prong cane to a 1 point cane, now I'm walking with out one Praise the Lord and I'm enjoying my "shapely" legs.

I agree with NTCM. It took me nearly a decade to get to that point!

In other news my feet were so swollen today I could barely get them in my shoes. The 90 degree weather I presume? I feel better now thankfully...
My hair was cute and stood up well to the high dew point/humidity.

Going to eat, watch Parks and Rec and The Office, and then off to sleep!

Jamaicacurl, buy genuine swarovskis so they don't get cloudy... Plus, it'll be cheaper (whole sale) if you buy them online. I got mine from eBay (google flat back swarovski whole sale), and paid 30ish for 1400. I bought two packs of 1400, and have enough left to do one more phone.

I had to stop in and tell you about Dr Angelou. She spoke at Fairley tonight and in one of her stories she was getting her hair done. She explained how her hair was really CURLY *looked at the crowd* it was big and it was really really curly. Then she said for those of you that use the word nappy, a word that I refuse to use because it is negative! I stood up and starting clapping!! Of course I thought of you guys!! She was Awesome!

LOL!! I feel you girl... It crossed my mind (doing a frame around the edges instead of blinging the whole thing), which is why I did a little over 3 days. Ridic.

I guess you folks on the east coast just have more fun ... LOL even though I'm jealous that me and Terra don't have time to drive over there today, I hope you guys have a blast
