TIGI Moisture Maniac
I'm looking into this conditioner. Has anyone tried this? What were your results? It this anyone's staple? Lets get it ladies!
Re: TIGI Moisture Maniac
I thought it was ok. Its hella expensive and I like my cheaper conditioners much better. On the plus; it smells really good, gives good slip and detangles pretty well. I wanted to try it as a leave in but the ingredients make me weary.

O0O thanks I'll have to look up the ingredients. Where did you purchase yours?
Re: TIGI Moisture Maniac
I got it from Ulta.
Here are the ingredients: Aqua (water/eau), Cetyl Alcohol, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Cetrimonium Chloride, Glycerin, Acettamide MEA, Cetrimonium Bromide, Stearyl Alcohol, Parfum (Fragrance), DMDM Hydantoin, PPG-2 Myristyl Ether Propianate, Pentaerythrityl Tetracaprylatem Methylparaben, Propylparaben, Tetrasodium EDTA, Silk Amino Acids, CI 15510 (Orange 4)
Once I noticed the parabens, I stopped using it.
I think Nikki and MahoganyCurls use it with no problem though.

Re: TIGI Moisture Maniac
I bought it this past weekend for about 9 bucks at the BX back home. I've only used it once though. It moisturizes pretty well. It does smell really good though. I didn't pay much attention to the slip or detangling because my hair is so short that it doesn't take much to detangle it. I stopped using it because I'm trying to see how my hair likes the Giovanni 50:50 so I will probably come back to it in a week or so.
On the other hand, I don't really like the price, I mean there are more expensive conditioners out there but 9-13 bucks for a small bottle for normal ingredients vs brands like Giovanni which is all natural for like 5-7 bucks doesn't seem worth it to me. But I'll be stalking this thread to see what others say. I know MahoganyCurls has been using it as a staple for awhile and she loves it.

I use it and love it. It smells great. Nice slip, and I use it as a DC sometimes. I got it at the supermarket on a random clearance sale. They had a huge bottle (25 oz I think) for like $8. I don't know what I'm going to do when it runs out because I don't want to pay regular price. I have other conditioners in my rotation that I like so if it runs out and I can't find it discounted then I'll keep using the other stuff in my rotation.

I've been looking into parabens and am now going to try and slowly transition off of them. What other hair proudcts do you use that are paraben free?

Re: TIGI Moisture Maniac
Hmmm... lets see. I try to stay away from parabens and silicones but I wash and/or shampoo my hair pretty often so my one silicone conditioner should be ok.
I use:
Kinky Curly Come Clean Shampoo
Suave Naturals Tropical Coconut Conditioner
Aussie Moist (has silicone in it)
Tresemme Naturals Nourishing Moisture Conditioner

I use Aussie Moist every now and then. Which conditioner gives you the best curl definition??

Re: TIGI Moisture Maniac
When I cowash with the Tresemme and use a combo of the Aussie and Suave for my leave in, my curls never fail me. I love how my curls hang when wet but they shrink soooo much as they are drying. lol
