Oolong Teas
Has anyone tried oolong tea? I am having my first cup as I type. The goddess of tv land ( Oprah) raved about it a while back but i am trying it because I need energy. I am drinking it straight no sugar added. Below is a little info from a website:
Oolong Teas
Oolong teas are full-bodied with a fragrant and fruity aroma. Often called weight loss teas because they help burn fat built up in the body. They are often served in Chinese restaurants.
Health Benefits of Oolong Tea:
- Good for metabolism and digestion
- May help lower your cholesterol levels
- Also known as 'Wu-Long' teas
- Excellent for skin and complexion

Re: Oolong Teas
Ooh I may need to try this! Im not really into the teas and stuff, but Im all about health and fitness! And if it was on Oprah, then it must be a pretty good product! And plus, I hear tea is good for you. I think I may get some, HA...guess I can pick some up when I get my green tea for my henna this week! Where did you get yours from? Can you buy it at Wal-Mart, Target, places like that?

Re: Oolong Teas
Drinking oolong helps me curb my craving for carbs. From what I've read to burn fat, it is best used in conjunction with green tea and you need to drink at least 3 cups per day. You can buy it at most supermarkets.. there is no need to buy the Wu-Long tea... that is just marketing hype.

@luvmeluvmyfro...YES!!!!!!! I brew Organic Black and Organic Oolong Tea and I add Organic Cane Sugar. When I drink it cold I sometimes add peach nectar or pomegranate juice with it...So yummy...I'm drinking some now.

@rebelrocks...it is. I love tea. Stopped drinking soda along time ago. I may sip a soda every blue moon. But I love tea!. You should try some. Make you a nice hot cup of organic black & oolong tea and it will make you feel better. I call it my happy tea.
