Can anyone recommend a good gel or pommade that will not leave my hair dry and brittle? I've tried IC Fantasia w/ Aloe and my hair eats it up.The end result is my edges being dry and brittle I've tried using shea butter and my hair eats it up. By the end of the day my edges are a hot mess. Please give me some suggestions.

Are you looking for a strong hold? I use Carol's Daughter Hair Milk and Ken Paves Curl Balm, it doesn't make my hair hard but it lays it down and keeps it moisturized. Not sure if you can see it in my avatar.

Nothing hard. I want a soft look and feel. Yes, I can see it in your avatar and that is exactly what I want. Ken Paves Curl Balm, where did you purchase that? Do you use both products together? Are you 100% or transitioning?
