Your daughter's hair is beautiful. I understand the boredom with the TWA. Have you thought about coils? There was a video on here somewhere on how to do it. Your hair is growing so nicely and looking so good, please don't cut it. You can probably twist too. If I find the video I'll post it.

You know what, I tried twisting a little section today and I do have enough hair! Thanks!

Does this mean you'll be twisting this weekend, too?! Say yes! I need a twisting partner.

Good morning ladies! I took some of your suggestions and twisted my hair. It was so easy, I don't know why I didn't do it before. I actually like them a lot. I'm super excited that I can finally do something with this hair!! I'm not confident enough to wear them out though. I don't have anywhere special to go so I'll be scarfing it for a few days. Then I'll take them out Friday before work...that's if they hold up that long. Hopefully it will result in a decent twistout.

So what I did was cowashed with Cantu Shea Butter conditioner, which is pretty decent btw, then I used Cantu Leave-in and some oil. I combed my fro out to stretch it. When it was about 90% dry I started twisting it with Ampro clear gel. It took me almost 2 hrs...long enough to watch the Monique show and most of the Wendy Williams show. Let me know what y'all think!!

Those look great!! I keep attempting to twist my hair but they're always so small that I get aggravated halfway through and quit lol

Well I took my twists out yesterday. I know I said I would wait, but I couldn't. When I first took them out the twistout was ok, but it was too scalpy for me. So after taking my shower (no shower cap), I rubbed the water droplets over the top of my hair and used some of the Sweet Apricot oil that I received as a sample from Darcy's Botanicals. This oil is very nice! It's light, smells just like Apricots, and gives a nice shine. Afterward, I had the exact results I was looking for. This is the look I try to achieve with my wash n go's, but it never happens. I love this style though. I will be trying it again!
