I'm counting over here and yesterday was the 10th day. Are you home yet???

GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!! I came home from Iraq on VACA and DO NOT HAVE TO GO BACK!! I want to say that you ladies have been on my mind, but I had surgery and had to recover when I got home. I am glad to say that I got a phone call yesterday to offer me a job and I ACCEPTED AND I AM HERE TO STAY!! I am so happy and loving the fact of being home with my family. I just have to get used to it.

Diva has grown, she is so thick it is hard for me to wash my hair and rinse all of the shampoo out. I washed my hair yesterday and still had crud when i scratched my scalp. So I am doing to wash again today and make sure i get everything out.

YEAH!!! I CAN BE A SOCIAL BUTTERFLY AGAIN!! AND DRESS LIKE A LADY

Hey Bellas!!

I do not know where to start. Man o Man.. I have been home from Houston since July and my life has been super busy. I have now started my own event planning and design firm business named Sophisticated Indeed Event Planning. I have been so busy with that! BUT what I am most happy about is that I am busy assisting in planning the Nzuri Healthy Hair Showcase in Houston, Texas. It is the First big Natural Hair Show in Houston. I am over Little Miss "Happy" Headed Pageant for little girls ages 5-113. For those in Houston it is on Nov 27, 2010 at the Power Center in Houston, Texas.

As for Diva!! She is showing up and growing out. I have learned the two strand twist and I wear them for a week or two then I take them out to do twist outs. I am so excited about the growth with the protective styling. Doing this show you meet a lot of people and learn new things about your hair everyday. Like locs grow faster because it is not combed. So I keep my hair twisted as much as possible so that I can get my growth on and IT WORKS. I do the twist outs and it is so defined and beautiful. I use this shea butter honey mix that I got from my Beautician. I use it for my twist and to loc my sons hair (which his hair has almost out grown mine). But Diva is showing out for real. I was on good day Houston check me and diva out. www.khou.com. We were on there Monday segment 7. I am in green with the twist outs.

Glad to see you posting again!! The young lady sitting next to the girl Debra interview did my hair!! So some of the stylist from Zayd's were there!!! Awesome!! You looked too cute!!! I know I said I would volunteer, but I have too much on my plate so I'm just going to come and enjoy the Expo!!

Hello All,

I know that I have not been on in a while but since I have been home I have had to really try to get back into the swing of things. Wife and mommy is WORK!! Well I got a job worked for a month and then quit because 1. I HATED IT! 2. I got a new job offer. I have started my business Sophisticated Indeed Events and is starting to get the ball rolling with that.. I also have another business called the Natural Hair Pandemic (NHP). I love my hair and I want others to invest time into themselves and love themselves for who they are and rock their God given talent (their kinks and curls).

Diva Report:

Diva is growing and she is loving being at home. she is now RED! I decided to color my hair for this hair show that was in houston, just to try something new and let diva showem that we can rock whatever. I have fallen off on a regi but I made a decision for 2011 that I will start back on one for this year. I had terrible breakage one time and I got depressed.. I am super excited because she will be rocking it out with NHP and I am going to make sure that she is seen everywhere and with everything that we do. (even though I am considering another BC).

This is the style I just took down today ( It has been in for almost a month I think it was time to wash... Dont judge me)

Thanks LaToya28... The funny thing is that I thought it would have been fire engine red and was super excited. But I still LOVE this color.
