French Braid Empty French Braid

Post by Muz 18th April 2010, 1:34 pm

Okay, so I've been trying to figure out how to french braid my hair for the last two hours (off an on), I'm frustrated and my arms hurt. Does anyone have a link to a good tutorial?

If you can ignore that her hair is straight:

This is the same technique I use. I like to do it on stretched hair because it's easier for me to pull my hair back into the braid.

Thank you for posting this.. her technique looks very good. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I know every time I try to french braid my fingers always get tangled up and confused when I'm picking up a new section of hair.

Hell, I could barely get it started, then the straight ends and the curly part wouldn't work together so I'd always get my fingers tangled up, and it was generally a frustrating process. ugh, just thinking about it I feel my blood pressure rising again ~lol~

Hell to the naw. LOL, didn't you see my FB status yesterday? I gave up shortly after I posted this, I was getting frustrated and was eyeing the scissors, that was my cue to call it a loss. I think I'll try again someday (or not, maybe french/dutch braiding just isn't in my future).

French Braid Empty sorry for the huge pic

I'm rocking the french braid today! I underbraided instead of going over the top.. I'll post a picture on my blog later on today. It's not the best french braid ever, but it's good enough to wear on this rainy day.

It took me about 20 minutes and several stops and do overs to get it halfway decent.
