Big Chop Prices

If you got your hair done at a salon, how much they they charge you to cut off the relaxed ends? Did you go to a regular salon or a natural salon?

I'm sure they would charge you the price of a regular haircut, if not more. I cut my own and my husband edged me up... [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

The natural salons in my area wanted over 100$ to do the big chop. I went to a regular salon in the mall like a super cuts (adventurous I know) lol, and go my hair cut for 25$ and the lady did a descent job.

I called a few salons in my area and they all quoted me $65 and up! I did it myself but I'd still like to go somewhere to get it shaped up. Probably won't be a salon though.

The first chop ran me about $50 at a salon. The second time I did it myself, and then went to a barber to get my hair shaped. Cost me all of $10.

I got mine done at the dominican salon I always went to for my roller sets. They charged my $20.

I got my BC done for free at a salon here in Dallas. For the shape up it was about $20.

My sister chopped my hair in my dining room for free! lol But, she is the person in the family - we ALL have one - that could really make money doing hair if she actually got a license. The barber charged me $12 to shape it up.

Mine was at a natural salon for $50.

My sis' was at a natural salon for $25 but mine at a regular salon was $50.

my stylist did it for 20.00

I paid $15 with tip

Well, chick - we're here! We are planning a meet-up in June with a little potluck at a Curlies home and she has a friend who will do massages for like, $10 I think.

I got a color and shape up today at my regular stylist for $40
