JBCO w or w/o lavender
I am considering ordering some JBCO from http://www.sams247.com/SearchResult.aspx?CategoryID=275. I have seen several curlies have ordered from there. Is there regular JBCO best or does the one with lavender mask the odor of the castor oil. I am not sure if I would like the two smells together. Also do you still mix it with a carrier oil like almond oil or evoo?

OMGosh I just bout a Castor Oil from my local pharmacy named HollyWood Beauty Castor Oil Hair treatment with Mink Oil. I checked the ingredients and didn't find anything I could not pronnounce it reads: Castor Oil, Mink Oil, Sweet Almont Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E_, Jojoba Oil, parafin Oil, safflower oil, lanolin, cocoa butter, propylparaben, fragrance.
I guess the Acetate and propylparaben are bad huh?! I guess I won't use it instead I'll order my $8 bottle from the link above. Hope the shipping ain't too costly. Maybe I'll look around for some other products to justify shipping cost. URRGGHHH!!!!!!

HIT IT!.. lol
I use all those products, not necessaily those brands. I love all of them especially my almond oil. I mix it in everything. I gave some to my SIL (sister-in-law) that has eczema really bad on her hands. She live in Va but she told she has been mixing it with her eucerin cream and she only has one spot left on her hand. It is great because it is not oily or greasy.
Happy shopping!

I probably wouldn't use that. I have found I am very hesistant to use anything that has alot of stuff I can't pronounce. My hair responds much better the more "natural" the product.

The acetate is vitamin E-- that's good. The paraben is the only thing you should be leery of although if you check around your house, you will probably find them in lots of products you already use.
