I definitely think you, as well as most, look better with your natural hair. It shows off your facial features. Rock that TWA girl!

I haven't met a true African Princess wearing a weave (LOL). So as your name says rock what the good Lord blessed you with. You have a beautiful grain of hair.

Do many women wear their hair natural in South Africa?

Unfortunately, South Africa has become quite a "plastic" country. Many women feel that they have to wear weaves and wigs etc to look good.The number of women who wear weaves and use relaxers far out number the women with natural hair. Before i had done the BC, so many people tried convincing me that its a big mistake to go natural and that it will affect my career!

Also, many black women in SA have said they want that "flow" in their hair, for it to be more "white". So SA is more like that States esp when it comes to fashion!Women must be seen wearing the latest trend and most expensive brands like Gucci, Prada etc...

Wow, I never expected an African country to be so influenced by both Western and European commercialism yet I'm glad you've decided to embrace your natural hair. When they say we need to get back to our roots I literally understand that phrase. We have this texture of hair for a reason and although it's the weakest, it's definitely the most versatile.
