Help me with the Henna Process

Hello I'm new to the site my question is I need help on trying to heanna my hair. I purchased a brand by Rainbow it didn't do anything for my hair I left it on for about 4 hours. And also this brand didn't sugest it sit it said to put on hair while product was still warm. Can anyone suggest a brand i have notice people talking about Jamila but I just want keep my hair brown. I'm do lost when it comes to this Henna process please help
