I DID THE CHOP!

So yesterday i got fresh braids put in. But before my hairstylist adviced me to cut the relaxed hair off, it was breaking off anyway so i just did it. I didn't really have a chance to play with it. But is it true that the hair will grow faster after the big chop? And does anyone know of a product that will make my hair softer with less knots?

unfortunately i didnt take a pic and ill probably regret it since i wont see my hair for 4 months..ugh
but ill keep yall posted
i have to say it looked cool and my facial features stood out alot more in a good way

but i know my mom will be upset .I really wanted her there but it was an impulse decesion.

Congrats on the BC! After I did the BC, my hair grew like wild fire. I've been natural for 7 months, and it's gone from .5" to about 5". So yes, your hair is free to breath and now you can look forward to healthy, fabulous hair!
