I was just getting everything ready to sew, but then I got a call...have to delay for a couple of hours. I want to get these done today so that I can working on your jewelry tomorrow.

Hubby said I'm going to need to take a crafting break
He needs more attention...

So I ended up with a faux-hairstyle...

twisted the front "bang" with a little aloe and fro in the back under bonnet and scarf to flatten

Hair today...nothing done, bonnet city
Did untwist the bang twists while sewing, looks cute, probably do a little faux-style until I can wash tomorrow. I'm too tired to do anything tonight and it got cold.

Curtains are finished now up to hubby to hang, little bit is supervisor on the job :O)

Will finish my brother's hat, tomorrow Lynn's necklace and earrings.
I do need to decide on a project for lunch tomorrow...thinking maybe another hat for little one.

I was thinking a poncho to go with her hat would be adorable..check out this pattern

The tuille at the bottom didn't show up as much as I wanted so I may go back and add charms or ribbon later.

NTCM, Those are really pretty. I need to get back into doing that. I took home ed in junior high and fell in love w/sewing after I made my first sweat shirt. I think sewing is very theraputic sp?

I wish I would have learned from my grandmother before she passed, but I do enjoy it so much.
Take a class. I want to take a quilting class throw the community classes in my area.

I love making things for others especially my family. We had been trying to find some curtains for her room since we moved and everything was either too baby or too grown. I wanted something that matched her crib set, but could also transition to a big girl room.

I'm rocking it again today. I know I had time off, but I was tired this morning and rushing for real.

I'll do a picture later on. Today, work is interesting. We got a new system and everyone is lost, but I will not be stressed. Working on some thumbless mittens for a baby gift today and trucking through til quiting time.

So I did the faux-style and got a lot of compliments on my hat and colors. (Remember fro under bonnet and hat)...


and I finished the baby mittens at work


I think I forgot the flash on both pictures, but today was a long/short day. I still have a headache and have a lot on my to-do list.

I will work on Lynn's jewelry then I need to wash my hair and do my little one's hair before bed.

So here's your necklace. I didn't have enough red so I went with blue. Let me know if it is okay.
It is 18'' glass bead necklace. I need to think about the earrings, but this will give you an idea.

Since you havent started on the earrings yet, I would prefer hanging earring instead of hoops. I hope that makes sense.
