thanks Nikki,jlowman1 and _kiner_! I need all the support I can get. I don't think my husband likes my new look. it hurt me to the point that I was crying. but I guess this is the time I have to grow thick skin,and keep telling myself that I did this for me and no one else!

Tiffy, I'm sorry to hear that hubby is not yet on board I never had to deal with that so I can't imagine how you feel. I think (like it matters) that you look great, and like other diva's husbands, yours too will come around once he sees how happy you are!
Men don't like change period... give him some time and in the meantime do things to keep yourself feeling good. Go to the spa, get your nails done, go out and buy cute new earrings, headbands, and hair flowers. Once you gain more confidence he won't be able to help himself

thanks so much Nikki! I really needed that ya know!? I never cut off all my hair before,or even gone natural. so it's a first time for both of us. I will continue to build myself up and do things for ME so that I can feel good! THANKS AGAIN!

Congrats girl! You are so brave and Im sure you will sport your new do with much confidence! Just think, that's one part you've gotten behind you in 2009! You are a head start with your hair journey for 2010, and its going to be ammmazing! Just think this time next year, your hair will be GORG!!!!!! And I agree with CurlyNikki, men are very simple and don't like change, so give the hubby some time to let it all sink in! The best thing to do is slowly educate him on your purpose for doing it and the results that you want to achieve. That way he will understand that your twa is only the starting point to something beautiful!

@Natural83,thanks for the wonderful words! I'm still getting the process down of what to do to my hair each day,but it's coming along.and now my kids want to stop getting haircuts and grow their hair out.and my husband wants dreads.everybody's going on their own hair journey...it's gonna be great!
