What products are you currently using? How long is your hair?

I don't think there is a miracle product out there that can single handedly deliver length retention. Developing a routine that fits for you would be of better focus. Moisture is key to curly hair and keeping your hair moisturized cuts down dryness that can lead to breakage. Look for products that have moisturizing properties, it usually says it on the bottle. I have never tried kinky curly curling custard but I have tried the knot today, its very moisturizing. My routine is Sunday cowash or shampoo depending on how much buildup I have with HHHH or Aussie Moist. Next I deep condition with a homemade deep conditioner; you can add honey and olive oil to Aussie Moist or HHHH to make a deep conditioner. Sit under the dryer with the deep conditioner for 20-30 mins. Rinse and add a leave in and let my hair air dry for at least 1 hr then twist my hair with my whipped shea butter or sheamoisture curl enhancing smoothie. The next day I'll either keep the twists or wear a twist out until the following Sunday. If my hair gets too frizzy and I don't feel like retwisting, I'll wear my hair in a puff.

I hope this helps.
