one of my clients an Italian woman and a fellow nurse ,an irish woman love my hair curly !!! the Italian woman tells me she loves when i wear my hair "fuzzy" and perfers me with out my wigs(protective style)...while my hubbys family (African) "say" they lke my hair but could never go natural themselves because i have "good hair" ugh it gets so old.. esp since. my relaxed hair looked just like their relaxed hair .. to me nappy hair trumphs no hair/edges everytime .. lol

me too mango, i am the same way. not sure what your plans are thus far [a question was posed about what to do previously] but those of us that are givers/love-bugs just have to be careful not to over-do it b/c men often will misunderstand, take advantage, which leaves us hurt. the best thing that i have found so far to keep things in perspective is prayer and taking things s-l-o-w-l-y. He will always step in to guide us and show us the appropriate time to 'be yourself' without over-doing it. one thing you can do [depending on how long you've been with your fella and gauging by whatever he may have done thus far to go out of his way for you, is allow him to give for v-day and then later on, you may decide to follow that up later on down the line and do a little something nice for him, so that he will see that you appreciate his thoughtfulness. a relationship is give and take. many good men have been hurt the same as women have. but all in all, prayer is key. He'll guide you when you're not sure what to do. i hope things go well for you chica.
