How long have you been natural?

I had my last relaxer Sept. 2008. and I transitioned until May 2009 when I cut the relaxed ends off.

I haven't had a relaxer since last March and most of my relaxer is gone But I haven't officially "chopped" yet. I always get my hair cut/trimmed while my hair is straight. I'm in between relaxed and natural

My last relaxer was April 9, 2009. My Big Chop was exactly 4 months later, August 9, 2009. I've been natural 18 months.

I haven't had a relaxer since early December. I had most of the relaxer cut out a week ago, but I still have a little on the top. Apparently my hair grows slower on the top - yay! (not)

So my hair journey is just starting, and I've already spent WAY too much money. But, I've been wanting to do this for years, so I'm good with it.

Got my last relaxer in 1995. I never big chopped (was there even such a thing back then?) I just trimmed and let it gradually break off. By 1997, I looked in the mirror and noticed my afro puff was bigger than my head and all the scraggly ends were gone... So I guess I've been natural since 1997?

Last relaxer was 5/26/10...big chop 8/18/10 (I was sooo impatient). I'll hit 6 months natural this week.

I had my last relaxer in June 2009 & cut my relaxed ends about 5 months later Nov. 15th --> i've been natural now for 15 months

My last relaxer was in 1999. My hair fell out really bad and I then decided to cut all my hair off real low like the rapper Eve at the time and dye it red. I've been wearing my hair short ever since then and now just started to grow it without the scissors coming in handy when I become frustrated

I've been natural all my life. Growing up my mom always told me "relaxers will make your hair fall out". Her words always stuck with me so even when I was old enough to make my own hair decisions just the thought of getting a relaxer scared me. I thought not only would I be bald, but then I'd have to hear her mouth too! lol

Wow looking back I have been natural for about 2 years now. However for 1 yr and 10 months my hair was hidden under a weave, and I never cared for it at all! One day my stylist was getting ready to put the cornrows in and sew on some tracks.By chance I glimpsed my hair, and said out loud that my hair looked short. A month after that I began caring for my own hair.

My last relaxer was 11 months ago. I never kept track of my big chop because, to put it nicely, I was less than thrilled with the results. I think it was bout 5 months ago, though. I just stopped hiding my hair under wigs about a month ago and I am loving it.

I transitioned just a bit short of 1 year and big chopped on January 23, 2010.

I count from the big chop, so I'm 1 year and 1 month fully natural on February 23rd.

I never relaxed (mom would never allow it and when I became an adult, I stopped wanting it), but I pressed my hair weekly.

My last press/flat-iron was summer of 2002. I had to transition to get my curls back.

I was natural for my entire life until 2007. My last relaxer was December 2009, I cut the back December 2010 and cut off the rest January 2011.
