It has begun ! ! ! ! Look for a Big Sister in the ATL area !

Hello NaturalBlaquepearl here and I could really really use some help. After about 7 months transitioning I finally BCed. And while it felt extremely liberating I dont know what to do with my hair now. I have been thinking about going to a natural salon to get a couple of tips. Im not sure what hair type I have, I think it may be a 5 or a 6 lol. J/K. Maybe 4b/c ish. No Its very thick, but soft. My main problem is that its sooo dry. Suspect I'm a stay at home mom so I'm able to wash, co-wash, or dc or whatever everyday if necessary. I've been watching a few youtube videos. I'm trying to stay as positive as possible. I want to rock my own hair, not a weave or a wig. Please help.

Thanks

Whoops forgot the pitcures !

My neighbor did this style for me. She used gel, which made my hair extremely hair, dry, and crunchy. So I liked the look, hated it the next day.

This was the next day after I washed and combed it out.

And this is my interesting attempt on a 2 strand twist out. Unfortunately I didn't have time to let it completely dry. I think this hair style had potential. I used oil and Goddess Curl. Still trying to find the right product.
