I know my texture is "cotton-y" but I'm clueless about my curl pattern bounce
I haven't had a relaxer since March but, I think I only have a tiny bit of relaxer left,

I'm going to start trying more heat-free styles after I get my moisture game up Smile

Most of my heat damaged hair is in the back...I don't know how that happened since I was always focused on getting the front to look perfect lol

My hair is more delicate in back than the front, so yours could be the same. When I was the press-n-curl queen, most of my damage was in the back though I didn't mess with it as much as I did the top and front.

I agree, I think the hair in the back of a lot of natural heads is usually a bit more resilient and coarser than other sections of the head. But, I can really only speak for myself.
