How to style on BC day????

Hi Ladies,

After nine months of transitioning, I've finally decided to get the rest of my droopy relaxed ends cut off on Feb. 19th. I'm so excited to finally get to see and style my natural hair.

I have a few questions for those of you who have done this already though...Should I wash my hair before I go to the salon? I haven't straightened my hair since August and I'm really proud of it. I don't really want to do it and risk heat damage. Any suggestions are welcome...Thanks in advance! :-)

willi77 I just BC'ed on the 8th of Feb. I went to the salon with Bantu knot outs and in hair. ( I was only going to make an appt but walked out 100% natural). Originally I was going to BC March 1st.

My Stylist shampooed my hair , cut it, cowashed and DC'ed in that order.
