HELP me please!
i have been battling with my dry hair for about a week now. Currently my hair is in 2 strand twist that are about 3 weeks old. I dont know if my hair is crying out for a wash, better moisturizer, oil? Previuosly, I would use cantu shea butter and Africas best herbal oil as needed and it worked great. Last night, I cowashed with suave condtioner then put giovanni direct leave in and the herbal oil. my hair felt great all day, until this morning. it feels so dry and coarse, no softness at all. do any of you have any recipes for spritz that may help me?
I know i probably need to wash my hair, but I dont have time today so thats not an option right now
any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Since Cantu & African herbal are both silicone containing products, you may be dealing with problems with build-up... which means even if you keep piling on moisturizing products, they won't be able to reach your hair (until you do a clarifying wash). But something I've been doing lately is applying leave-in conditioner to dry hair, then covering with a plastic cap and leaving that on for 30 minutes. When i take the plastic cap off, it's almost like i did a mini deep conditioning treatment! If you want extra moisture, try to get in the shower with the plastic cap on & enjoy the effects of the steam I got the idea from this video:

Africas best, the oil u use is fine. My cousin uses that. all the oild in there are good and it does not contain silicones. And which Cantu Shea butter profuct are you using?

no problem! I'm not saying that the products themselves are bad & since i haven't checked the ingredients in them lately, they may not contain silicones (i thought they did, sorry!) but any product (even if its organic) can lead to build-up eventually but hopefully you will continue to get a variety of feedback.
