Re: 12 MONTHS of PROGRESS
@ ladybug: A big thanks!
@ Nali: I don't do anything special. I use castor oil heavy and I try to keep my hair twisted or cornrowed (under a wig) most of the time.

Re: 12 MONTHS of PROGRESS
Congrats on the growth. Yes, please put the scissors down and step away. I was scissor happy myself I've BC'd 3 times since April 2009. Last time was a mini chop Sept 2010. Since then, I have been doing protective styling for the Fall/Winter months (twists & mini twists under my wig since October 2010). It has helped me not cut my hair and I have retained length. Now, the in-between hair stage is/was hard the 1st year and an half. Now I am ready for the journey to the Big Ass Afro.
KnottyKinkyMommy wrote:Well, I have managed to make it through almost one year without cutting my hair. Since 2006, I've had either a baldy, a ceaser or a TWA. I can't believe I hung in there. Go me! I'm gonna try my best to stay away from the scissors...I promise!

Re: 12 MONTHS of PROGRESS
Thanks again everyone.
@SwanLakeLibra: Yes, this in-between stage is killing me. I'm guessing its going to take around a year or so to get over this hump. Until then, I'll be under my wig and in the summer, I'll be back in a puff. And its so nice to see I'm not the only one around here wiggini' it, lol.
