One of my new year's resolutions was to start taking vitamins, get rid of my HIH syndrome, and do scalp massages to see how it would affect my growth. I was bored in class today and wondered exactly HOW you go about doing a scalp massage. Quick or fast? Circular motions? How and how often do you massage your scalps?

Smile When I first saw your title my first thought was "Yes, please!" Then I was interested. I rub my scalp sometimes but I have wanted to do it more often. I did a search for scalp massage and found this article. It has some good information.

hey ladies!!!

I live by scalp massaging, Ive been doing a scalp massage once a week for the past year and I believe it really has helped with my hair growth. I have an oil mix that I use, Jojoba, Castor, and a little EVOO. I oil my entire scalp section by section and then i massage for about 15-30 minutes. It supposed to help stimulate your scalp and increase hair growth, but I also take daily multivitamins and drink lots of water so I think that may help as well.

When I cowasch my twists every night, I put a plastic cap over my head and massage on top of the cap so that I do not fuzz up my roots.
