Prom!!!!

so prom's coming up and i'm in the process of planning everything out but idk what to do with my hair...i'm in that stage where my hair isn't really a TWA but it's not long enough for a ponytail or anything...and i was talking about it with my "friend" the other day and she says "PLEASE don't go with your hair looking like that!" which pretty much messed up my day :/ so i was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions???

Is it long enough to do twists? My hair is also in that awkward in-between phase but when I went out last night I wore my hair in a twist-out with a headband over it and a pompadour in the front. I got sooo many compliments. You could even put a pretty flower or accessory in it to match your dress.

You could do a rollerset, maybe?

First of all, you and your hair are beautiful and don't let anyone tell you otherwise!!XD As for prom, I also think you should wear two/three strand twist out. Or you could have half flat twists and half twist out. XD Good Luck and have fun!!

Yea i was thinking about that too, i was thinking i could do something like fohawk for prom but i don't know how it would look. Hey maybe you can try a curly fohawk??

I have some magazines with some natural hair styles for prom! Ill scan some and post them here for you. Who knows, you might find the perfect style

You could try a bantu knot out for big, spiral curls. I always do those when I wanna look fancy. lol.

If you don't wait to mess with you hair you could do a lace wig or sew-in

Are you set on doing it yourself, or do you want to get it done? I don't know what kind of twisting/braiding skills you have, but I would suggest some type of hot flat-twists or cornrows...maybe twists up to a mohawk or something like that.
