Need a Big Sis!

Hi, I big chopped and thought I knew what I was getting into . I am regularly on CurlyNikki and Naturally Curly. I have looked at YouTube videos galore . A wash and go seems so simple, in theory; however, some regimens call for a co wash, leave in, oil, moisturizer, sealer & styler...not necessarily in that order. On my twa what am I sealing? Also, is a butter/cream the moisturizer or is the oil the moisturizer. I'm trying to figure out what else I need to buy and all of the different forums offer so many options as everyone has their own HG's. Thanks in advance to whomever can help me !

welcome and congrats on going natural. sealing is applying oil to your hair after you moisturise to lock in the moisture. oils dont moisturise but some oils do penetrate and nourish the hair like coconut oil, olive oil and avocado oil. they can be used as a selant as well. what products, regimen are you using now? we can start from there
