About to BC in next week

Hello All,
I am about to BC & I am nervous. I have already started chopping on my hair as I am taking my braids down. I would like to know if anyone is close to me here in Indianapolis, IN. I am just overwhelmed and I am needed to get this for my hair & need to get a rountine together. HELP!!!!!

Hey ThickMadame. I don't live near you but just a few words of encouragement. You hair will look divine when you BC!!! I BCd about 5 times in the last 15 years and I LOVED it each time!!! It's only hair and will grow back in time. But you will love it. embrace it. Rock it with pride!!! And I see you already have cute accessories so just keep doing that. Good luck to you and don't be nervous. Like I said, it'll grow out in no time and healthier too!!!

I, too, am itching to BC though I'm trying to hold out till my year mark. It's just so exciting isnt it?

Thanks all. I know it is just hair. It will not be as short as I thought. I have been in transition for a yr on 12/19/10. I have about 4-5 inches of new growth.

oh ok, well that's a great length then for a BC. When I BCd it was all the way!!!! LOL
