Hey everyone, i wanted to know what are some protective styles i can try with my twa im still in that phase now ,and im trying to retain length and protect my hair from the cold weather cause im starting to notice that my wash n' gos are looking dry cause of the weather. Im thinking about trying two strand twists or twistouts, are there any other good ones? Wink

Hey NaturallyBriaful. How long is your hair now? You can try the twists or maybe those coils, i guess those are just one strand twists -- i never did them before. Cornrow or flat twist into a fauxhawk or side hawk. maybe??? good luck! Very Happy

Well yeah, try the twists then. I know my hands stay out of my hair when it's all twisted up. It I wear my hair out my hands are ALWAYS in my hair!!!! LOL

I think I'm going to start doing some protective styling myself. I'm really trying to gain more length and all the fotki's and blogs that I've seen of naturals with very long hair have somewhere in there journey faithfully worn twists for a period of time, or during the week to keep the hair protected. Guess I'll see how this works. Not too ticky about wearing twists out on the go, but I guess I need to find a way to make them look "cute" Lol!
