Deep conditioner without Protein

Post by kimc on 25th November 2010, 12:34 pm

Can you suggest a deep conditioner without protein? Also what are the ingredients that let you know there is protein in the product? Thank you

Also what are the ingredients that let you know there is protein in the product?

Some ingredients to look for are keratin, collagen, amino acids, wheat germ , almond, soy and avocado.[b]

Darcy's Botanicals Deep Conditioning Mask. Righteous stuff. I did a review that you can find on this thread. Lots of other postive comments about it. I can't say I've heard anyone say anything negative. I love it.

Kim,

AO White Camellia is a great condish. Not expensive (about $10.00 when not on sale) and you can get it on the ground. It really does the job because it has not let me down when doing potentially drying treatments like ayurvedic herbal treatments and Bentonite Clay. The smell is medicinal or like herbs, but I am used to that now. You can always add some essential oils.

I agree, but it does contain wheat germ oil(vegetable protein) as the fourth ingredient.

I was coming back to clarify that point about the wheat germ, but thanks Falcon, for noticing my omission. Smile

Most cholesterol don't have proteins in them and make good conditioners...or you can add other ingredients to them as well

Lustrasilk Cholesterols (they have about 5 or 6 different kinds like Olive Oil, Shea and Mango, Argon Oil...)
Queen Helene Cholesterol

They are also very cheap and you get a lot for your money.
