Hello again ladies. So today I did Billy Blanks' Ultimate Bootcamp. It was pretty good. Had me sweating loads. I used some ankle weights as well to make it a little harder. Burned 700 something calories according to my watch. If that's anywhere near accurate it's probably cuz of the extra weights. AND the Billy Bands I used.

So anyway, I guess people have been busy this week since no one has really posted on here or the 2011 Weight Loss Challenge!!!! WHAT Y'ALL BEEN UP TO????

Hello Curlies,

Quick update:

My 5am workout is going strong, but the only drawback that i can find is that during the day, i am Soooo tired and sleepy. Sleep

I find myself wanting a nap @every possible moment. Sleep and i am in bed by 8:30 pm.

But i feel wonderful and i can feel results in my clothes. (Why didn't i do this sooner scratch )

HAhahaha!!! I know what you mean about being sleepy during the day. I know yesterday I wanted to sleep SOOOOO bad and almost did but I woke myself up. LOL Then slep late this morning by accident and almost made my kids miss the bus!! But they didn't.

So I am definitely burning calories. I did Billy Blanks this morning and ate fairly light too. You keep up the good work. I will!!!

I worked out today!!

I did 30 mins on the elliptical machine on a level 10, then I did 50 mins on the treadmill. I ran one mile. I did a total of 830 calories!

Did one hour of Physique57, felt good but now I have a sore throat. I was planning on going to zumba at the gym tomorrow so we'll see what things feel like in the morning.

Hey ladies. I did my SHAPE Ultimate Bikini Body Workout DVD this morning. I haven't done it in a while. Wes pretty good. Probably will do my Zumba tomorrow.

I caught a cold and I haven't worked out since Tuesday, I think. I couldn't make it to my Wednesday Zumba class, but tomorrow I think I will go to a yoga class, and I teach yoga Saturday and Sunday, and I will also do Zumba on Saturday morning after I teach yoga (if I have time to get there on time).

So I didn't do the elliptical night before last because my hip had been hurting so I decided to incorporate dumbbells back into my routine and do those.

I only did about 15 mins - same exercises I've always done - why I pull a damn chest muscle?

I recently started training for a 5K race and I'm starting to love exercising and getting into shape. But the only thing is that I'm not big fan of running. I would rather find another workout and run as well.

I have tried kickboxing and yoga and I love yoga. Anyone suggest any other workouts. I have heard that zumba is fun. Anything esle?

So I exercised this morning as soon as I rolled outta the bed. I think I might make this a habit. Knowing that it's already done for the day is HUGE.

Hey good to see you are feeling better. Yeah i do my workout @5am because i have no energy or time at the end of the day.

The only drawback is that i am sleepy @work, but @ least i did my workout already Surprised

Thanks @Ladybird. I'm so glad to be over the pain.

Today was Day 3 of exercising in the morning. Yep. Gonna stick with this. SO much easier and less stressful.

I don't get that "burst of energy" people talk about, but it sure does feel good to do it and get it over with.

I did a good class at the gym yesterday, it was cardio, weights and abs. I didn't get out of the house for pilates today and I really am dragging this afternoon. Tonight I will try to either go to zumba or do a 30 minute Physique workout before my choir rehearsal. I have lost a few pounds recently though, and I am in my goal jeans.

Hey ladies!!

I'm still training for the 5k on April 2nd. I didn't get to do the 5k last weekend. I went to visit my great aunt in N.O.

I haven't lost any weight but I am still in a size 8 dress (not sure how but I'm glad about it). Today I ran 3 miles with no breaks for the first time in over 3 months. Now I just need to keep this up for the next few days.

I am looking to change my gym membership really soon. The gym I am currently a member of is a 24 hr gym so there are no classes and no trainers. You are kinda on your own. I am ready for a change. The gym I am looking at has a pool, indoor track, and Zumba classes. So I am looking forward to going and checking it out next week!!

@ yldthng - Working out in the morning is the best way for me too. I feel so good knowing I got it over with.

Ended up trying a new pilates class yesterday loved it. Didn't get to the gym this morning, so I will try to do something at home today. Tomorrow morning is my regular zumba class.

I made to the gym this morning and did 4 miles....ran 3 of those miles with no breaks..GO ME!!! LOL!!

I burned 518 calories! I will use the weekend to rest and training again on Monday.

Hey ladies,

Haven't had much time to post but I am getting back into the swing of things exercise wise. I've been tracking my food and working out. I've started working out twice a week with a friend of mine who is a personal trainer. Twice a week via Skype we do an intense 10 minute work out and I am encouraged to exercise 30 minutes every other day. It's EXTREMELY intense but I love it. Plus the 10 minutes is only $6! His site is called www.phitnes413.com. Haven't notice huge weight change but I think that has more to do with my diligence in working out other days of the week and finally just this week tracking my calories. I am on board now. Hey all just checking in...

Weekend workout:

Saturday-Elliptical -30 Mins-415 CAL
Treadmill-1 hr - 800 CAL

Then 1/2 hour of weights

Sunday- Elliptical - 1hr -815
Treadmill-40 Mins - 615
Bike -20 Mins- 100 CAL...wanted to do 1/2 hour but my legs were shot Laughing

Total CAL For the weekend-2,745... woot!

Now i am going to have some Chicken wings, potato salad, Mac & Cheese
and Ice cream Laughing
