Corygentri - New Beginning

Hi all - I am back. Today is my anniversary - 7 great years with my hubby so I thought as we begin our 8th year of marriage I thought today would be a good day to come back and start posting again. I keep up with some of you on FB but I have missed chatting with you all on a regular basis. It has been a long year and I must say I am glad it is almost over. My hair journey is still going strong - 1 1/2 years natural and counting. You guys are looking great! I am getting my hair flat ironed this Friday so I will have a length check in the process so I am looking forward to that - only get it flat ironed every 6 months or so - last time was in June. In the meantime I will post some trial and error of some styles this week. Catch me up on what is going on guys. I have missed you. Hate my avatar (my face is still fat) but it was the latest pic I had LOL!!

Linnie - I just LOVE YOUR PUFF!! Actually we had our son a couple of weeks ago. Xavier Anthony was born on Oct. 15. at 12:09 p.m. He went home to be with the Lord a couple of hours later due to a severe birth defect that he was diagnosed with at 20 weeks back in June, so my focus was getting through the pregnancy (more mentally than physically). So hence - my absence for a while. So just trying to get my feet back beneath me, all of us are trying to heal. I miss him - thanks so much for asking. But my little girl is good. I am trying to learn to cornrow so I can do some new styles on her but her hair is growing well. I have to not be absent so long again - it took me more than an hout to go through all the posts on Curlynikki earlier today!
