Chunkyy`s Transition Empty Chunkyy`s Transition

Post by pretty,Pleaseee 2nd October 2010, 4:37 pm

Hello all , Chunkyy here.
I am 17 years young, 18 in November and I have been transitioning for 2 months now. My last relaxer was July 25th, 2010. So far everything is a breeze for me. This is my second time deciding to transition I didnt go through with the first decision and of course ended up relaxing. But this time I am certain that I want to transition. In the past I`d stretch my relaxers 6 months at a time , so I`m not too worried about getting to the 6 month mark its what comes after that may be a struggle. I plan to do a long term transition of at least a year but no more than 2 years.

From my previous stretches I believe my hair type is 4a, but i`ll wait until I am fully natural to determine that.

Currently I am in a weave but once I remove it [some time mid october] I will post pictures on how my hair is doing so far.

Thank you everyone for your warm welcomes.

I am strating to re-think this whole transitioning process. I have a few different thoughts running through my head. It's not that I'm thinking of getting a relaxer again , I'm just debating the route I've chosen to go natural. I keep telling myself . . .

- Don't transition for too long - experience a twa
- Don't cut too soon you'll look like a boy , you'll regret it , you'll most likely cry everyday
- Keep transitioning thats the only way you will retain ALL of your length

as you can see this transitioning process is overwhelming. I have been looking at lots of TWA videos on YouTube and I LOVE Them. But then I see a few people who have transitioned for 2 years and I love their length.

Ladies, what are your views on the BC vs. transitioning ?
