Post by Latisas2003 on 27th September 2010, 5:18 am

Hello Everyone,

I am a soldier in Iraq. I have been natural for about 2 1/2 yrs now. I have very thick coily hair. My problem is when I wash my hair and let it air dry in a puff it always ends up being very dry and tangled. Sad I use a leave in conditoner and add cantu shea butter and oils for sealant. Could someone please help me to figure out what is going on. Oh I forgot to mention that I am in very hot weather from time to time all day. I use Design Essentials hair products also. Natural world please help me I am so lost without my beautican around.

2. Are your shampoo and condtioner sulfate free?
3. Are you DC ing at least every week? If yes, what is the product?
4. What oils are you usiing?

My hair does the same thing if I let it air dry loose. I would suggest twisting your hair and letting it air dry then style your hair into a puff.
