Random Thoughts...

I'm about to watch Prom Night just to see Idris Elba. I always knew he was fine, but Takers got me hooked! I know that Prom Night is from '08, but I'm feignin! lol. Don't tell my husband though...he gets a little jealous when I bring up Idris.

The last three months of the year, I will be a CONCERT GOING FOOL with two of my TOP bands, on the SAME BILL, ON MY BIRTHDAY IN DECEMBER. HELL. FREAKIN'. YES!!

i have so much to say haha

today as i was waiting for the three train at atlantic, i saw this girl SOBBING. like, legit. making sounds and everything. i almost went up to her and asked her if she was okay, but then she kinda stumbled to some dude and he was SO disrespectful to her. saying she was crazy and to leave him alone etc etc. and then the train came. he was all "yo stay here on the platform. i'm done with you, leave me alone blah blah blah" and he gets on the train and (of course) she follows. so as the train doors are about to close, he pretty much booked it outta the doors, but she was fast enough to get off the train too and followed him back onto the platform.

anyways, the entire situation just reminded me of...well...me! lol. the girl was me at age 14/15 and the dude was my POS ex. after those two got off the train, i almost burst into tears (haha, no, really). i realized how happy i was and what a great place i was in. two-three years ago, i was crying myself to sleep almost everyday, going through such a terrible relationship. i was just so...pathetic, i guess. so naive about things. even 09 sucked because even though i wasn't talking to him anymore, i was super alone and miserable. now, i can honestly say that i'm happy and it's such a great feeling. idk. i just had to get this off my chest. after seven years, seven LONG years, i can finally and with confidence say i love myself and just love everything about my life. feels good fantastic.

Ok so I made a earlier morning run to Wally World...Well while I was standing in line I got the strangest feeling that someone was staring me up and down. Of course I was right...the woman behind asked me where I brought my puff from because the one she had looked cheap and it didn't shine like mine. I just laughed and told her that the puff was my actual hair. She said it couldn't be black women's natural nappy hair doesn't shine or look as soft as that. I just told her that since I have been placed on bedrest(Yes I know should have been at home anyway) I have been playing with a few products and I have had great sucess with them! She was so impressed as I was walking out she told the girl at the check out that she may give her hair a rest from the chemicals and go natural because my hair was beautiful!!! lol

I'm hoping and wishing for the day this ONE GUY at my job STOPS ASKING ME IF I HAVE A TEXTURIZER. HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I TOLD YOU: IT'S NOT A TEXTURIZER!?!?

I feel ill still . . .booooooooooo! I hate feeling un-well, had Virus and now its tailing off into a cold - just want it gone!
No gym again, genuinely not up to it, though rest is what i need, im always too busy - so start again Sat with a 45min spin class.
Im so hungry to, apple wont suffice so i shall hold off for dinner in a couple of hours at 6pm me thinks!
Getting cold here in UK now too, its Sunny this afternoon, but my oh my thats deceiving!!

I'm just being real! I see this MOFO EVERY DAY I'm at work and it's always the same thing: "You used a texturizer!?!? " NO POOP FOR BRAINS, I DID NOT USE A TEXTURIZER! *In a Johnny Cochran voice* As you can PLAINLY see, a texturizer HAS NOT BEEN USED.

I'm about 5months natural. I washed and deep conditioned my hair after 2 weeks (will never do that again) and its just so soft and fluffy. I loving my hair more and more everyday. I think I'm falling in love

i'm hype right now. i just applied eyeliner correctly for the first time ever. VICTORY IS MINE!
