The prayer list

Post by afroness on 19th November 2009, 4:07 am

There are times in life, and more so in these times, when we need all the prayers we can get. So please feel free to share those moments with us, let us as a community petition the greater powers for help. (lean on me, when you're not strong, and I'll be your friend... It won't be long till I'll need sombody to lean on)

Wow, this is such a great idea. It just brought a tear to my eye thinking about it. I don't really know of anyone that is struggling or really going through anything. Yes, we all are having issues (school, job, money, etc etc) but what I can say me and most of the people I know are blessed despite the minor setbacks. So I ask that you pray for us with our continue blessings regardless of how small they may be. So I guess my prayer request is for continued blessings for me and the people I love and care about.

I have an aunt who is closer to me than anyone can imagine. She is the reason I went natural. She told me (in her exact words) You need to stop putting that mess (perm) in your hair and wear it natural- you know like Macy Grey!

Anyway- she goes in for testing tomorrow. So my prayer is that the test will come back negative!

Thanks in advance!

This is a great thread!

I'd like to add my husband to the prayer list. Please pray that he passes this upcoming CCNA certification test and most of all for a new, satisfying, full time job.

Also, a co-worker just told me today that he found out today that he has prostate cancer. Please pray for him as well.

Thanks ladies.

Ladies
Today I found out that I'm having a baby boy [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] I am so thankful because I relly wanted this baby to be a boy.

So after the good news, the doctor told me that he has one soft marker for down's syndrome, this does not mean that he has it, they just need to do more testing because he has a marker, she said that it could also be nothing but the law states that she has to inform us that we have options.

Please pray for baby Liam, I want him to be ok and to have the opportunity of a full healthy life.

I'm praying with you Jamaica... a new satifying fulltime job is where it's at these days. I hope your co-worker deteced the cancer in time, there so so much that can be done if there is early detection.

I am praying for job satisfaction for jamaicacurl's husband and natural83.

I am praying for your son's health, afroness, and healing for your co-worker jamaicacurl.

I would like to ask that you pray that my husband and I can conceive. I ask that whatever God's will child or not, my husband and I will continue to remain a strong, loving couple.

Thank you ladies for the prayers! And I am praying for all of you as well. I pray your baby boy is as healthy as can be afroness, I pray that Chrs & her hubby are blessed with a baby (or two Smile), I pray that natural83's interview went well and the job is hers and I pray for all of us women who have or have friends and/or family members who have cancer. I pray for God to place his healing hands on all of them and let his will be done. I also pray that researchers find a cure for these cancers very soon.
