New iPad coming out?

Yeah, I need a list best apps too ... since I'm new to the Ipad world.

I'm so excited. My local Apple store is getting a shipment tonight. They give out tickets so I plan to be in line by super early.

Can't wait to get my hands on one now....

Well my smartcover has shipped ... ahead of schedule. Wasn't expecting it until March 30. I shipping notice last night.

Now, I hope my Ipad does the same and ship a week earlier than expected.

Sweet, did you purchase a back cover yet? Or a carrying bag/case - or can you use your old Ipad stuff?

I got mine today... so excited
Got in line at 3:30 this am. The store only had 15 total. I was number 4 in line. Didn't get exactly what I wanted (32g black wifi+3g) but I did not leave disappointed. Got a 64g wifi verizon 3G white with pink cover.. Playing on it now...a lot to figure out.

Ladies forgive me this week has been quite busy at work. Here is my review:

First let me apologize because I didn't realize you all were making decisions based on my review.

So here it goes....I LOVE IT! And here is why.....

The design is sleek and sexy. The smart cover is OMG fashionable to say the least. I mean I look good holding it!

The performance now here is where I was pleasantly surprised. I noticed the presence of the new duo core processor almost immediately. It clearly responds faster

The camera all the reviews I read said the camera is not the best quality and the first pic I took with it, I co signed. It was not until I was I'm better lighting that I decided the camera is just fine. I even downloaded iMovie and made a video! Love it! Oh and face time, is my new favorite thing. I talked to our Lynnie the other night! I love her southern accent!

The cost here is where they kill the competition because they improved it just a wee bit and didn't increase the price.

I'm gonna get a back skin for mine - I hear good things about Best Skins Ever (BSE) - and the covers are compatible with the Smartcover. They the combo for front and back. Also -I've seen some neat carrying sleeves and bags for women.

So can you do 3 way calls with Facetime? So Lynnie has the Ipad2 or is she using her Iphone or Ipod?

I've been on macrumors following folks likes and dislikes. Apple is making millions on this device.

BBD I went (actually my sister and I) to the Apple store at Annapolis mall. When I called the night before and the told me they had some in stock and would open early but that people had come early too around 4 am and that tickets were gone in 30 mins I knew I had to be earlier. I like instant gratification. Can't you tell?! 3:30 am...I can't believe I did it. The store opened at 9 am. The first two people in line were there around 2:30 am. There were about 50-60 people total but only 15 got lucky.

Might have to it again too but i hope not, so I can get my sister one for her bday.

I will be checking out the site you mention about the skins. I'd like a back cover too.

@ Sweet Thanks for posting the apps list. This thing does so much. I am totally in love with it.

Mine is finally in the "Prepared to Ship" mode on the Apple website?

I got my shipping notice - I should have my Ipad 2 on Friday, April 1.

I have no idea why, but everyone's iPad 2 excitement is so contageous. I have an iPhone, so I'm not convinced I need an iPad 2, but I am very jealous of the Blogshelf app that Sweet mentioned. It's one of the few apps available for the iPad, but not the iPhone. I've seen reviews and snapshots of it and it looks freaking amazing for someone that likes to read blogs.
